Meet the teachers - Matthew Green

We have a new teacher in Parets

This is Matt with one of his T3 groups

We asked him a few questions to get to know him a bit better

Where are you from?
I am from Shropshire in the UK, which is a rural county in the centre of England.

How long have you been in Barcelona? And how long have you been working in

Cambridge School?

I have visited Barcelona before as a tourist, but this is the first time I have lived here.  I have only been with Cambridge School since January so I am looking forward to exploring Catalonia.

What did you do before coming to Spain?

 I recently climbed Kilimanjaro and travelled around Tanzania.  Before this I completed my CELTA in England and have taught at the University of Worcester.  Prior to completing my CELTA I was a client relationship manager for an app development company.

How are you enjoying working here in Parets?
I am really enjoying working in Parets.  Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming, so I am looking forward to working with my students this year.

Do you have any hobbies?

I enjoy hiking, kayaking and general outdoor activities.  I also enjoy watching and playing football and have coached youth football teams for many years.
